Seminar 22
Goodbye Moussa Ndiaye
From Tidings – June 2019, By Gaétan Charland, Canada on October 7, 2019
On 29 March this year, Moussa Ndiaye, a long-time reader and great teacher of the teachings of The Urantia Book, passed away. Moussa was the first president of the National Urantia Association of Senegal and travelled for many years to Europe, Canada and the United States to attend congresses and hold a series of seminars based on The themes were based: the teachings of The Urantia Book. His goal was to raise spiritual consciousness among men and women of many religions, whether or not they were readers of The Urantia Book.
I met Moussa in New York in 2000 during the international convention of the Urantia Association in Staten Island. From my first meeting with him, I was impressed by this man and what he had accomplished in his country. He was able to share the teachings of The Urantia Book with over eight hundred people of Muslim faith using a unique method he developed called ‘Progressive Divine Wisdom’ which is based on the teachings of The Urantia Book.
Moussa was a teacher by profession, but he preferred to be a teacher of truth. He never tired of speaking of our spiritual father’s infinite love for humanity. He truly dedicated his life to helping anyone who could attain God-consciousness to be spiritually free and able to grow alone with God as their companion. Many were privileged to know him as a teacher and to learn from him. His spiritual heritage is still very much alive in Senegal in a group of spirit-born people who were trained to continue his teaching method in the Muslim community, not only in Senegal, but also in other African countries. His legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of the men and women he taught throughout his life … . Several of his seminars are available in French on YouTube.
Enjoy the journey, my friend, on your new adventure in our local universe.
